Chris Bohn

Instrument: Guitar and Bass

     Chris has been a private music instructor for two years, beginning at Menchey Music in York, PA. Chris has been studying and playing musical instruments for 12 years. He began his studies on Alto Saxophone and then moved onto guitar and bass. He has studied privately and independently, specializing in theory and composition. He currently performs his own material as a singer-songwriter in solo and small group formats. Chris also teaches songwriting in the Universe of Song summer program at St. Francis University. Chris teaches children and adults, and he teaches a variety of styles including: classical, rock, jazz, folk, and country. He focuses on such key areas as music theory, composition, music reading and notation (in tablature and standard notation), and improvisation.
